Aside from technical skills we look for three big things in the
people we hire: intense curiosity (especially about people),
a massive desire to collaborate, and a “Can Do” attitude.
We have people in many places, but we only have one
team. And an eclectic bunch of individuals it is… marketers,
researchers, innovators, strategists, words-people and
numbers-people living in perfect harmony (yes, really),
designers and documentary film makers.
We pride ourselves on being irreverent and quirky and
smart, working hard to deliver great work for our clients and

Global CEO
Simon is an experienced CEO & Corporate Strategist. He started his career with L.E.K. Consulting, became Manager & Partner with Capgemini Consulting, & then CEO with KAE, a strategic branding and marketing consulting firm based in London.
Harjot Bassra
VP & Head of Project Management - Operations
Harjot has well over a decade of experience in communications, publishing, and business management. She started her career as the publisher and editor of iStyle Magazine, a national print publication aimed at the South Asian diaspora in North America.
Dave Rees
Vice President & Head of Film - Film
An editor with over 2 decades worth of experience in the film industry. He has over 60 hours of network television under his belt including Showtime’s ‘The L Word,’ USA Network’s ‘The Dead Zone,’ and ‘Andromeda.’
Brynn Harris
Vice President - Research & Consulting
As a founding member of the Sound, Brynn has played an integral role in shaping what The Sound is today. She works closely with all our teams, uncovering powerful narratives that move people and brands. She is the mastermind of our Sound Track process and ensures that our work is always exceptional.
Mindy Cultra
Vice President & Head of Creative Analytics
Mindy has spent her career breaking conventions of what quantitative research can deliver – developing innovative approaches that uncover unique human insights, fuel ideas and inspire creative strategies. Her work has impacted brands such as Coca-Cola, Gap Inc., General Motors, P&G, Pfizer, Samsung and Visa.
Jerusha Bennett
Vice President - Innovation & Brand Strategy
Jerusha is a brand strategist with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for delivering innovative brand solutions that emotionally connect with people, stimulate brand growth, and drive profitability. At The Sound, she is focused on developing more nimble and agile approaches across the company’s three pillars of Innovation, Exploration, and Strategy.

Sandy is a qualitative researcher with 25 years of experience helping brands connect with the people they seek to engage. Her expertise is in idea development (positioning, creative and packaging) and ensuring ideas have their intended impact.

Elizabeth has spent over two decades helping brands earn attention, build trust and inspire loyalty. She’s at her best breaking down complex business, brand and communications challenges and getting people to rally around the right strategy to drive growth.
Latasha James
Head of HR - Operations
With over 15 years of business experience specializing in HR and People Operations, Latasha is a visionary who has worked with multiple organizations across a variety of industries, helping them focus on their organizational effectiveness, change management, and talent management strategies. Latasha looks for opportunities to positively impact and support employees so they can develop into their best selves. She will continue to cultivate the DEIB and Anti Racist initiatives at the Sound.
